God Will Always Take Care of You is a gentle, truth-filled picture book designed to plant the promises of God deep into the hearts of young children. 

Through whimsical rhymes, beautiful watercolor illustrations, and comforting truths, this story helps little ones remember that God is always near, always listening, and always caring for them.

God Will Always Take Care of You carries countless scriptural truths woven into a fun, rhyming story that follows two children and their flock of adorable lambs as they explore the meadows.

Each page is rooted in Scripture, offering 2–5 truths that help build a strong foundation for your child’s faith. You’ll also receive a free downloadable list of all Scripture references so you can dive deeper with your children in simple and meaningful ways.

This book invites families into gentle, gospel-rooted conversations through:

• opportunities for discipleship as you read aloud together

My hope is that as you read this book to your child, the truths of God’s Word begin settling into their hearts—becoming the promises they hold onto as they grow.

There was a time after having my second baby that I just knew, deep within me, that I needed to teach my children the truths that would carry them through all the ups and downs of life. 

It can be hard for children to understand who God is and to find comfort in Him.

But I want our children to know, like deep down inside of them, the truths of God’s Word that will carry them through every season. I want our children to know God will always take care of them, wherever they find themselves, to know God is with them, watching over them, protecting them and guiding them.

So I began to look for ways to hide God’s truths in their hearts in ways that they could understand and recall if they needed comfort or guidance.

And if you have been around children for any time, you will know the capacity with which they have to memorize. My own children will correct me if I get one word wrong in one of their favorite books!

Which led to the creation of this very book.

The mission behind this book (and the ones I hope will follow) will be to lay the foundation of scriptural truths our children need to carry them through the good and the hard times in their life. To hide God’s word in their hearts so that they can recall it in times of need and stand firm on it when things get hard!

There will be many resources and fun additions that you can use to plant these truths more deeply in your own child’s heart as you read the story with them, hopefully many times over!

I’m a Christian wife and mother of three (with one on the way), who believes we were never meant to build our homes alone. God calls us to walk together, rooted in His truth.

I started following Vanessa over on Instagram a few years ago. From the moment this book was placed on my heart, I just knew she would be the perfect illustrator. After about a year, I reached out to her and within a few months, things fell into place.
